Sang Boone

In the artwork ""Whispers to the Wind,"" a young girl adorned in a Vietnamese Dao ethnic costume is whispering to the wind with a serene smile. Her traditional attire is stripped of its intricate patterns, leaving a modern and minimalist design that bridges the gap between past and present, tradition and modernity. The girl’s headscarf billows gracefully in the air, symbolizing freedom and the fluidity of identity across temporal and cultural boundaries.
"Whispers to the Wind"" transcends mere aesthetic appeal; it is a philosophical statement. The girl represents harmony, happiness, and peace, concepts that resonate deeply within the quest for a balanced intercultural existence. In an era where the blending of Eastern and Western influences is more pronounced than ever, this artwork calls for a recognition of our shared human nature and a celebration of our diverse yet interconnected identities. The painting underscores the importance of finding a place of equilibrium—where the wisdom of the past meets the innovation of the future, and where different cultures converge to create a tapestry of shared human experience. This place of balance is where true happiness resides, reminding us of the need to maintain a harmonious relationship with ourselves and with nature, reflecting the core values of the BIEAF2024 ""Old Future."" In this dynamic interplay of old and new, traditional and contemporary, the painting stands as a testament to the enduring quest for harmony and the timeless pursuit of happiness. Through its serene yet powerful imagery, ""Whispers to the Wind"" invites us all to ponder our place in this ever-evolving world and to find our whispers of joy and contentment in the winds of change. ""Sang Boone is an artist dedicated to exploring intercultural connections and expressing emotion through her artwork. Inspired by nature's grace and resilience, she aims to share the wonder of everyday life. Educated under the guidance of Vietnamese master Nguyen Hong Hung and Chinese professor Pan Guo Ping, her art merges Eastern tradition with a global perspective. Affiliated with the Women Artist Association of Singapore, she participated in several Exhibitions: The Voice of Art, the UOB Art Competition in Singapore, the Same Year Art Exhibition in Shanghai, and the Painting Awards Exhibition at the Metropolitan Art Museum of Tokyo. Her art serves a dual purpose. She has contributed paintings to support children's heart transplants in Vietnam and uplift the lives of orphaned children in the Philippines. In Singapore, she got involved in the “Art for a Cause”, and contributed to raising funds for the Cancer Society. "instagram : sang.art.creationNoNoNo"The theme of the 21st BIEAF, ""Old Future,"" resonates deeply with me and has profoundly inspired my work. It encourages a reflective journey, prompting us to consider how our past promises shape our present reality. This theme questions our current state of happiness and fulfillment, urging us to contemplate whether the future we envisioned has indeed brought us the joy we anticipated. The philosophy behind ""Old Future"" aligns seamlessly with my artistic vision. It emphasizes the importance of understanding human nature and fostering a harmonious relationship with the environment. This theme is not merely about displaying artwork; it represents a collective promise for a better future, transcending environmental, racial, religious, and cultural boundaries. In ""Whispers to the Wind,"" I explore these concepts by blending traditional and modern elements, Eastern and Western influences, and timelessness with the contemporary. This piece is a tribute to the pursuit of balance and harmony in an increasingly interconnected world. The girl in the painting embodies the essence of happiness and peace, serving as a reminder that true contentment lies in finding equilibrium between the old and the new, the familiar and the unknown. Inspired by the profound philosophy of the BIEAF theme, my work aspires to capture the vision of a united human future. It is a celebration of our shared humanity and a call to reflect on our journey, ensuring that the promises we make today will lead to a brighter, more harmonious tomorrow."

In a time when original and precious arts can be left in the hands of oblivion. There is this work of mine from an original and ancient. Iranian art called Khatam Kari. This ancient inlay work dates back to the Sassanid dynasty 1500 years ago.
Today, we need those who use these ancient arts in modernity, which is currently devouring details and going towards the minimalist side, but these details are very valuable. And this is an art
It is the duty of us artists to match this style of ancient arts with attention to details and respect the principle of art. I decided to make this lampshade both practical and a fusion of the ancient art of leather tanning
and wood and metal inlay.
So that I can show this ancient art to the world in today's style until this royal art finds its place in the life of the world once again I am the servant of a tiny drop in this sea of idleness To commemorate and perpetuate this ancient and royal art of Iranian Khatam Trust in the divine light and it is within you, it is your guide""1.First name: Sepideh Last name: Hajebifar d Gender:female Nationality:Iranian Address:Iran, Shiraz city, Mirzai Shirazi Boulevard, 36/2 alley, No. 232, postal code 7196714788 Date of birth: 17/feb/1992 education: Bachelor's degree Orientation:solid state physics College:I now have a professional technical diploma from Khatam art field in 2022, Shiraz campus university. It is clearly and strongly observed that despite the usage of rich and various images, there is an abstract, plastic substructure on this painting, just like on most of her paintings. I mean this substructure wasn’t sacrificed in the name of the presentation of the object. On the contrary, this is a masterfully designed abstract, plastic substructure, which initially faces you and catches your attention.
This substructure catches the viewer and takes them into a journey on the painting. And then, we flow between the connection of the images and through their individual existence. Right there, a process similar to the function of the memory takes its place. The images, reminiscence, or the things that are recalled with the very complex anthropomorphic meanings of the objects show themselves with a half conscious, half nonconscious outer shell, just like the images we have in the function of the memory.
It’s just like implying the distinct or indistinct memories, remembering and dreaming with the presentation of the images by setting partially intense, partially transparent layers of paint. The painting is like turned into insignificant and a little spooky body of time with various intensity of layers of paint. The painting becomes more shocking when we look at the objects individually. A metaphysical stretch lies in front of usage occured with the combination of many and various objects. The objects present some anthropomorphic specialities which every person can interpret differently. For example, the bodies and branches of trees sometimes point out to a lively and happy existence by pointing up, while other times they signify somber and sad existence. On the upper side of the painting, while the seagulf with the widenth wings signifies a life energy like it's about to fly away to infinite sky from the open composition of the painting, it increases the energy being flown to the outer side of the painting exponentially as being a body by itself. You cannot feel any hierarchy between the people and the animal figures with different stances and situations on the painting. Maybe, we need to put more emphasis on the animal figures. According to many researchers, the image of the animal is the initial image that we can start to differentiate from the early ages of our lives. In this matter, it has an archetypical feature. When we think about one of the most used images of Çiftçi’s paintings being the Childhood, in fact, we can feel that the animal images in her paintings have deeper meanings. We can also feel that the memory process of the painting has an analogy through the process of the painting. She handles consciousness and unconsciousness items just like they are combined in the same stretch. I mean the objects individually are not the symbols of something, they reach an intense impact by awakening feelings that occur through betweenness. ""SEVİNÇ ÇİFTCİ Was born in 1976 in Istanbul. When this transformation occurs outside of the child's will, we cannot speak of creative and innovative formations that will shape the future. As we grow up, our choices and preferences are somehow sacrificed to social consensus. The concept of ""early childhood loss,"" which Rilke refers to with the line ""... the unripe fruit that falls from the branch"" in his Duino Elegies, is also a primary subject of my works (growth, the shaping processes of the individual, childhood, etc.). On the other hand, we know that the future is determined by the ""now."" So, who are we sharing the ""now"" with? If we are living in this time only by centering ourselves, this experience will be quite insufficient for us to be happy in the future on Earth, which we share with other living beings. The balance between the strong and the weak will determine the future. In my paintings, I include animals, children, and plants to make them visible. If there is an infringement of rights now, the future will present it to us in an amplified form.

Shagufta Neyazi

The Essence of Red Harmony,"" an abstract painting by Shagufta Neyazi, captivates with its bold and vibrant use of red, black, gold, yellow, and blue. This piece showcases Neyazi's masterful ability to convey complex emotions and ideas through her art, making it a striking addition to any exhibition.
**Color and Composition** : At the core of the painting lies a dominant red, symbolizing passion, energy, and intensity. The various shades of red, from deep crimson to bright scarlet, create a dynamic focal point that draws the eye and evokes a sense of movement and urgency. These red tones are meticulously layered, giving the piece depth and texture. Interspersed with the red are bold strokes of black, adding contrast and grounding the composition. The black elements balance the vibrant reds, creating a harmonious interplay between light and dark, vibrancy and calm. This use of black symbolizes strength and resilience, underlining the passionate fervor of red.
**Gold, Yellow, and Blue Accents** : Gold accents introduce opulence and warmth, symbolizing wealth, power, and divinity. These golden elements catch the light, providing a shimmering quality that changes with the viewer’s perspective, bringing the painting to life. Yellow, associated with joy, intellect, and energy, adds brightness and optimism. Strategically placed, the yellow hues highlight and accentuate certain areas, creating a visual rhythm that guides the viewer's eye across the canvas. Blue, linked with calmness, stability, and depth, provides a cooling contrast to the warm tones of red and yellow. This interplay of warm and cool colors creates a sense of equilibrium and tranquility, balancing the overall dynamic nature of the composition.
Interpretation and Emotion : ""The Essence of Red Harmony"" explores the balance between passion and calm, strength and resilience, joy and tranquility. Neyazi's expert use of color and texture invites viewers to delve into their own interpretations, evoking personal emotions and thoughts. The abstract nature of the painting allows for varied interpretations. Some may see it as a representation of the human spirit with its inherent complexities and contradictions, while others might view it as a landscape of emotions. The title suggests a core theme of finding balance and unity amidst chaos and intensity. **Technique and Style** Neyazi's distinctive style is evident in this piece, characterized by bold brushwork, dynamic layering, and a keen sense of color harmony. Natural beauty encompasses the awe-inspiring elements of the natural world that captivate the human spirit, offering a sense of peace and wonder. Majestic mountains, with their snow-capped peaks piercing the sky, stand as silent sentinels to the passage of time. These colossal formations, often millions of years old, showcase the Earth's geological history, their rugged terrains dotted with lush forests and serene meadows. Rivers, winding gracefully through valleys, reflect the sun's golden rays, their waters teeming with life and echoing the sounds of nature. The gentle rustling of leaves in a forest, the vibrant colors of a sunset, and the delicate intricacies of a flower all contribute to the planet's breathtaking tapestry.
Oceans, covering vast expanses of the Earth, hold mysteries in their depths and power in their waves. The rhythmic ebb and flow of the tides, the soothing sound of waves crashing on a shore, and the vast horizon where sea meets sky create a sense of endless possibility. Coral reefs, bursting with color and life, are underwater gardens that support diverse ecosystems and remind us of nature's fragility and resilience. Deserts, often perceived as barren, reveal a different kind of beauty with their sweeping dunes, dramatic landscapes, and the tenacity of life that survives in harsh conditions. The night sky over a desert, free from light pollution, reveals a dazzling array of stars, planets, and galaxies, evoking a profound sense of connection to the universe. Forests, whether tropical rainforests or temperate woodlands, are teeming with life and diversity. The symphony of bird songs, the rustle of animals in the underbrush, and the myriad shades of green paint a picture of vitality and interconnectedness. Trees, towering and ancient, stand as guardians of the natural world, their roots intertwined with the very fabric of the Earth. Natural beauty also lies in the subtle and often overlooked details: the pattern of a butterfly's wings, the gentle curve of a river's bend, the way light filters through leaves, casting dappled shadows on the ground. Each element, from the grandest mountain to the smallest pebble, contributes to the overall harmony and balance of the natural world. Experiencing natural beauty, whether through a hike in the mountains, a walk along the beach, or simply sitting in a park, has a profound impact on the human soul. It reminds us of our place in the world, inspires awe and gratitude, and fosters a deep sense of peace and well-being. In an increasingly fast-paced and technologically driven world, taking time to appreciate and connect with nature's beauty is more important than ever, offering a respite from the chaos and a reminder of the simple yet profound joys that the natural world provides."I am painter inspired by the natural world beauty and mystery my painting celebrate color formed and texture and mediated on the relationship between light and shadow and atmosphere

Title: Transience and Beyond: The Stages of Life**
In the delicate interplay of light and color, my latest painting on glass captures the essence of human existence through the metaphor of flowers at various stages of bloom and decay. This artwork, titled ""Transience and Beyond,"" serves as a poignant reminder of the beauty and impermanence of life, juxtaposing the temporal nature of our earthly journey with the enduring mystery of what lies beyond death.
At the heart of the painting is the life cycle of a flower, a symbol universally recognized for its beauty and fragility. Each stage of the flower’s life mirrors a corresponding phase in human existence. From the tender bud, full of promise and potential, to the full bloom, radiant in its prime, and finally, to the withering petals, fragile and fading—these stages represent the trajectory of a human life.
In the early stages of the flower's life, vibrant hues and intricate details celebrate the vitality and exuberance of youth. The petals are richly textured, their colors vivid and alive, capturing the essence of innocence and the boundless possibilities that lie ahead. This part of the painting invites viewers to reflect on their own beginnings, the dreams and aspirations that once fueled their youthful hearts.
As the eye moves across the glass, it encounters the flower in full bloom, a stunning representation of maturity and fulfillment. Here, the colors are at their most intense, the forms at their most perfect. This phase symbolizes the peak of human life, where one's abilities, experiences, and contributions are at their height. The intricate play of light and shadow across the petals reflects the complexity and richness of a life fully lived, a time of both achievements and challenges. Yet, as the cycle of the flower progresses, the painting also depicts the inevitable decline. The once-vibrant petals begin to fade, their edges curling and darkening, capturing the delicate transition from life to death. This stage, though tinged with melancholy, is not devoid of beauty. The subtle hues and gentle lines convey a sense of grace and dignity in aging, an acknowledgment of the natural order of life. What sets this painting apart is its exploration of life after death. Amidst the withering petals, faint yet discernible, are ethereal forms and delicate motifs suggesting the continuation of existence beyond physical demise. These subtle elements invite contemplation on the mysteries of the afterlife, the spiritual journey that follows the cessation of bodily life. The glass medium, with its inherent transparency and luminosity, adds to this effect, creating an almost otherworldly glow that hints at the transcendence of the soul. ""Transience and Beyond"" is more than just a depiction of the life cycle of a flower; it is a meditation on the human condition. Through the stages of the flower, the painting reflects on the fleeting nature of our earthly existence, urging viewers to appreciate the beauty and fragility of life. At the same time, it offers a glimmer of hope and continuity, suggesting that death is not an end but a transition to another form of being. In this artwork, the interplay of light, color, and form on glass serves as a powerful reminder of our mortality and the enduring quest for meaning beyond the physical realm. It is a celebration of life in all its stages, an invitation to cherish the present, and a contemplation of the eternal.""Artist Bio Shazia Langah is a visual artist.

This painting represents flowers which are reborn following a disaster that we see in the background.
Self-taught in the field of abstract painting, for 6 years, I have developed my art with undeniable passion. With previous experience as a hairdresser, I have always expressed my creativity through through different mediums.
Attracted by color, graphics and shapes, I perfected my art by exploring several styles and experimenting with different painting techniques. My taste for electro pop music coincides with very colorful pop art and the soft music of piano with the more structured side. My artistic process is characterized by an exploratory and intuitive approach. In starting a painting, I do not have a predefined vision of the final result, I leave my intuition guide my brush. This creative freedom is reflected in my abstract works, offering each observer a unique and personal experience. I use different supports such as canvas, iron, wood, sheet metal. I love giving another life to objects obsolete and amorphous. I like to dress body fragments and sculpt animal heads to give them charm other than trophies, give them a second chance to be beautiful and happy. I like to play with textures and materials, mixing acrylic with various elements such as collage, coating, sand and papier maché to create striking relief and contrast effects. The use of glaze gets me through gradients to add depth to my creations. To date, I have produced several distinct series, each exploring themes and styles different. I invite you to discover me.....
